About

"Batu Gunting Kertas" is a name of a game in Indonesia. It also known a "Rock Scissors Paper" game. Name "Batu Gunting Kertas" was chosen for borrow the playing aura from children, beside that the selection name using indonesian language also as an identity and the place where it came from.

It began from studied about Wassily Kandinsky's colour and shape theory in 2011, and so it become the trigger to the created of "Batu Gunting Kertas" logo which adopt the theory that used in art school, Bauhaus. Circle, triangle and square form seem quite enough represent the abstraction of rock, scissors and paper.

In children's game, rock, scissors and paper is an icon that defeat and defeated each other, until it created a cycle which become circle. That cycle also parallel with recycling cycle that also round. In line with that, "Batu Gunting Kertas" jewelry also bring the spirit of recycling in using the materials, so it composed a harmony of nature in each product and artwork.
